Today afternoon i.e. on 09 July,2012 at 2:30 PM Jr NTR arranged a special press meet to speak with people regarding Kodali Nani exit from Telugu Desam Party(TDP). The actor said that he is not the man behind Kodali Nani's exit and he didn't encourage him to quit TDP. The actor also said he is loyal follower of his grand father founded TDP party . He further added that he will not quit TDP and will serve TDP till his death. However, the actor said he is away from politics as he is currently busy with films.

Jr NTR arranged this special meet due to allegations made on him regarding Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani's exit from TDP.

However, Jr NTR fans believe that this new look is for his upcoming movie Baadshah which is directed by Srinu Vaitla.
